Geology

Short characteristics of the site: Frost cliff in leucocratic two-mica migmatites with undulating foliation. The frost-riven cliffs, cryoplanation terraces and stone streams evidence an intensive frost weathering of some accompanying periglacial features. Important geomorphological locality. The locality is registered as a Nature Monument in the Protected Landscape Area.
Regional geologic unit: Bohemian Massif - crystalline complex and pre-Variscian Palaeozoic - Kutná Hora and Svratka region - Svratka crystalline complex
